Distribution: China (south west); Himalaya; Myanmar (north west)

Comments: Habit: Deciduous perennial.
Flowers: The sweetly scented flowers open in December on flower spikes which can grow to more than 3 metres tall.
Further information: This extraordinary lily loves the damp Pukeiti climate. It produces masses of seed and at Pukeiti we remove all seed heads to limit its spread.
