Comments:
Habit: Forms an upright stiff shrub to 2m.
Foliage: Has oval leaves with an acute point, 7.5cm long by 5cm wide. The upper surface is a matt olive green and both surfaces have brown scales present.
Flowers: Campanulate flowers appear sporadically through teh year. These are in trusses of 5 and are a light magenta fading to cream, with flared lobes.Each flower has the scent of sweet carnations.
History: The progeny of an open pollenated Rhododendron zoelleri, "Koha" was registered by the Taranaki Regional Council. The name acknowledges the natural gift. Currently not available in New Zealand.
