Rhododendron 'Summer Cloud'

Family: Ericaceae (Heath)
Comments: Habit: Compact slow growing shrub, in time can reach over 2m tall.
Foliage: Good neat elliptic foliage.
Flowers: Soft pink buds open into large funnels of pure white fragrant flowers with green in throat. November.
History: Cross by Mrs E Boswell, Christchurch and introduced by Riverwood Nurseries, Little River, Canterbury.
Cultivation information: Plant in full sun to part shade in moist, well drained soil. Suitable for container growing, and available from rhododendron nurseries and garden centres in New Zealand.
