Comments:
Habit: Upright bushy habit to 2.5m.
Foliage: Bullate elliptic leaves, grey and scaly below, new growth purple and densly scaly.
Bark: Peeling copper brown bark.
Flowers: Very large funnel shaped blooms, 3-6 per umbel from purple pink buds. Open white with greenish yellow throat. Strong fragrance.
History: Sourced from Dr Hal Braafladt, Eureka, California, USA. Name given by Graham Smith at Pukeiti in 1996.
