Life form: Shrub - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Forms a small upright tree, the new growth of which appears reddish-brown.
Foliage: Narrowly elliptic leaves, 5-15cm long by 1.5-5cm broad held in whorls around the stem. Upper surface is a matt green and glabrous, the underside being paler, glabrous and with minute red glands.
Flowers: A neat truss of white flowers with a heavy spotting of purple inside the florets.
