Comments: Habit: A compact, evergreen shrublet with short, densely scaled branchlets.
Foliage: Very small, elliptic to broadly elliptic leaves, 0.2-1cm long. The upper surface is a pale greyish-green and densely scaled. The underside is densely scaled, those scales being a pale brown.
Flowers: Has an inflorescence of 1-2 widely funnel-shaped, small deep purple or reddish-purple flowers.
Note: Extremely rare in cultivation.
