Comments:
Habit: A spreading shrub with branchlets clothed in dense, red glandular hairs.
Foliage:Persistent dimorphic (or two types) leaves. The spring leaves are 3.5-9cm long by 1.8-2.5cm wide. Summer leaves are 1.5-2cm long by 0.8-1cm wide, ovate-lanceolate. Both surfaces are covered with thick red hairs.
Flowers: Appear in loose trusses of 1-2 funnel-shaped orange-red blooms.
