Life form: Shrub - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Forms a graceful, narrow leafed shrub to 3m. Grows in mossy sub montane forests between 1500-2400m.
Foliage: Longer narrower leaves than subspecies stenophyllum, up to 120mm long by 2.2 mm broad. Leaf pedicels always hairy besides being scaly.
Flowers: 3-5 handsome orange to orange-red flowers.



Cultivation information: Not easy to cultivate on its own roots.
