Comments: Habit: Forms a small tree to 3m, whose branchlets are scaly. Sometimes epiphytic.
Foliage. Elliptic-lanceolate or oblanceolate leaves, 5-11cm long by 1.8-4cm broad. A shiny,dark green upper surface that isn't scaly, and a glaucous green underside which is scaly.
Flowers: Has a loose inflorescence of 2-3 flowers which are widely funnel shaped, whiter flushed pink with a yellow blotch. The outside of teh corolla is densely scaled.
History: Close to R. carneum but with fewer flowers per truss and generally unscented. All original collections were from North Burma by F Kingdon Ward in 1931.
