Rhododendron 'Alpine Glow'

Life form: Shrub - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Large shrub.
Foliage: Bold oblong foliage.
Flowers: Large umbels, 12-14 funnel shaped, 6-7 lobed, 100mm across, light pink from darker buds, fading, with small red eye in throat. Light scent. September flowering.
History: One of the Rothschild 'Avalanche Group'.
Not readily available in New Zealand.
