Comments: Habit: Tall open shrub.
Foliage: Obovate leaves, dull green above, white felted below.
Flowers: 20 flowers per umbel, tubular bell-shaped, mauve, 7-lobed, fading to white with purple blotch and spots.
History: From Crarae Estate, Inveraray, possibly a seedling of R. niveum.
Additional information: Not readily available in New Zealand.
