Comments: Habit: Tall and open growing to 2.5m x 3m.

Foliage: Leaves elliptic 110 x 50mm, dark brown scales visible below.

Flowers: Large yellow tubular funnels, orange toned on lobes, 7-8 per umbel.

History: R. aurigeranum X laetum. Crossed by Tom Lelliott, Australia, raised by Ewen Perrott, NZ and grown and named at Pukeiti Rhododendron Trust by Graham Smith.
