Rhododendron 'Golden Charm' (Vireya)

Comments: Habit: Compact spreading plants 1.0m.

Flowers: Umbel is compact and has 7 - 8 large yellow tubular funnels, orange toned on lobes. Effect is a rich orange yellow colour.

Foliage: Broad elliptic leaves, glossy, bronze when young, deeply puckered to almost spoon shaped. Repeat flowering.

History: R. 'Princess Alexandra X macgregoriae. Sister seedling of Apricot Charm and just a shade or two lighter in colour, raised by Felix Jury, NZ.
