Comments: Habit: Slow growing, compact shrub.
Foliage: Dense foliage with grey green casts.
Flowers: Dense rounded groupings of open white flowers, with a red blotch in centre and some red spotting. Flowers can be viewed in November.
History: The specimen in Pukeiti's collection was raised by Cecil Smith, Newburg, Oregon and seeds were released through American Rhododendron Society seed exchange in 1982.
