Comments: Habit: Vigorous spreading shrub with strong purple shoots.
Foliage: Large oblong elliptic dark green leaves, 180 x 55mm.
Flowers: Large open funnels with 7 lobes, 9-10 tall umbel, carmine to soft pink, paler throat, sweetly scented, heavy texture. Greenish-pink calyx. October-November flowering. Like a compact and deeper coloured R. Loderi.
History: Bred and named by Ron Gordon of Taihape, NZ.
Additional notes: Not readily available in New Zealand.
