Comments:
Habit: Compact shrub to 1.5m.
Foliage: Dark elliptic and scaly leaves.
Flowers: Open funnel flowers, 5-6 per umbel, greenish yellow flushed pink buds, open light primrose to cream, greenish throat, scented.
History: Was orginally sold as R. ciliicalyx. Raised by Duncan and Davies Nursery, NZ, grown by Lynn Bublitz and propagated and named by Alistair Duncan, Woodleigh Nursery, New Plymouth.
Additional notes: Available occasionally at some rhododendron nurseries in New Zealand.
