Comments: Habit: Compact mounded shrub to 2m+, like a large R. yakushimanum.
Foliage: Leaves dark green, revolute with some hairs present.
Flowers: Soft pink buds open blush with small red eye and yellow green markings and then fades to beautiful white flowers. November flowering.
History: Raised by Hans Hachmann, Germany in 1968.
Suitable for container. This is a hardy variety which will grow in a range of climates. Available from rhododendron nurseries in New Zealand.
