Comments: Habit: Forms an upright shrub or small tree to 6 metres.
Foliage:Large oblanceolate leaves, 49cm long by 190cm wide. Green upper surface with a buff coloured indumentum.
Flowers: A compact truss of 26 campanulate magenta rose flowers.
History: A seedling selected by the Pukeiti Rhododendron Trust to honour the Patron, Gordon Collier. Not readily available in New Zealand.
