Comments: Habit: A shrub to 3m, the twiggy branchlets are both densely bristly and scaly.
Foliage: Lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate or elliptic leaves, 2-9cm long x 0.6-3cm broad. The upper surface is dark green and bullate with bristly hairs on and about the margin. The underside is both hairy and scaly with a densely bristly petiole.
Flowers: Trusses of 1-3 (sometimes 5) widely funnel-shaped white flowers.
