Comments: Habit: Very compact spreading shrub to 1m.
Foliage: Dark green recurved foliage with white hairy layer early on.
Flowers: Red buds open red with pink tones and yellow in throat giving an orange effect bicolour. November flowering.
History: Cross by Rudolph Henny, Oregon.
Further information: Occasionally available from New Zealand rhododendron nurseries.
