Comments: Habit: Very compact shrub to about 1 x 1.5m.
Foliage: Dark green foliage, white indumentum below.
Flowers: Compact umbel of 8-10 funnel shaped flowers, pink in bud opening cream with pink wavy edges for bicolour effect. November.
Habit: Cross by Dr John Yeates for NZ Rhododendron Association at Massey College, NZ about 1965 and seedlings released to members in 1972. 'Yakday' and 'Pink Cushion' are sister seedlings.
