Comments: Habit: A stiff, sparsely branched small tree.
Foliage: Dull green, leathery leaves, 8-17cm long by 4.5-10cm wide. The underside has a thin suede-like grey-brown indumentum.
Flowers: A truss of 8-15 campanulate yellow flowers with a red blotch.

History: Originally only known from the Cangshan Range, Dali, W. Yunnan but more recently discovered in N E Yunnan.
