Life form: Shrub - deciduous
Comments: Habit: A deciduous shrub to 3m with stolons or runners from the base. These can give the appearance of it being a broader plant than it is tall.
Foliage: Deciduous oblong-lanceolate leaves reddish with teh spring new growth. This changes to a pale to dark green as the leaves mature. Stiff hairs lay flat on both surfaces along with small glands making the leaves sticky.
Flowers: Tubular-funnel shaped yellow flowers open in the spring before teh new growth appears. Very fragrant.
