Comments: Habit: An upright shrub to 9m, which can appear sparsely clad as it sheds its leaves after one or two seasons.
Foliage: Handsome, thick, oblong to oblanceolate leaves, 20-40+cm long by 5-20cm wide rolled at the edges. The upper surface is dark green and shiny with distinct ribs. The underside has a silvery to buff, plastered and shiny indumentum.
Flowers: A truss of 15-20 oblique campanulate flowers of a vibrant rich pink with a crimson blotch fade to a softer pale pink.
