Comments: Habit: A compact spreading shrub which can grow to 1.2 m wide by 2m tall.

Foliage: Good glossy textured leaves, slightly bullate.

Flowers: Pink striped buds open to sweetly scented white tubular funnel shaped flowers. Early to mid season.

History: R. edgeworthii (s) X ciliatum. Raised by Veitch and Sons before 1862 in London, the first crosses made after introduction from Himalaya by Joseph Hooker.

Cultivation information: Suitable for container growing, this variety tolerates a range of conditions. Available from rhododendron nurseries in New Zealand.
