Foliage: Small ovate to lanceolate leaves which appear well after the flowers. Leaves softly hairy at first. Autumn leaf colour purple.
Flowers: Very early purple to lavender or white flowers in umbels of 1-2. Flowers August-September.
Cultivation information: Does well in well drained open position with plenty of sun.
