Comments: Habit: A small tree to 10m with stems and branches covered with rough bark.
Foliage: Oblong-obovate or oblanceolate leaves, 20-37cm long x 7-11cm broad. The upper surface can be a dark or pale green, shiny and without hairs. The underside has a thick, rough and continuous indumentum of hairs.
Flowers: Trusses of 15-24 tubular-campanulate flowers that can be either rose, pink, white or creamy white. These can be with or without a purple blotch and purple spotting.
Rare in cultivation.
