Life form: Tree - evergreen
Comments: Habit: Forms a small tree to 12m. The branchlets have a thin covering of whitish hairs.
Foliage: Lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate or oblong-elliptic leaves, 6-16cm long x 2-5cm broad. The upper surface is a matt olive-green, whilst the underside is covered with a thin plastered indumentum of silver-white hairs.
Flowers: Light purple flowers with a darker purple throat appear in trusses of 5-10.
