Rhododendron 'Valaspis'

Comments: Habit: Neat compact bush to 1m tall.

Foliage: ovate, dark green, edged with brown hairs.

Flowers: Open, bell-shaped, bright yellow.

History: R. valentinianum x leucaspis. Hybridised by Lord Aberconway in 1928, grown to first flower, named and introduced in 1935.
