Distribution: South Africa (KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga); Swaziland
Comments: Habit: A low plant with strap-like leaves.
Flowers: Can have red, orange or yellow flowers. A very popular garden plant through much of the world due to its ability to flower beautifully in shady places.
Cultivation information: Not fussy about soil but prefers temperatures of no less than 10 degrees celcius.
Further information: A native of South Africa and Swaziland.
