Comments: Habit: Dwarf shrub.
Foliage: Thick and stiff leaves, 2-4.6cm long by 1-2.3cm wide, narrowly ovate to elliptic. The upper surface shiny dark green, and the lower surface is paler with scales. The leaf petiole is bristly.
Flowers: Early in season. Red buds open to pink funnel-campanulate flowers.
Cultivation information: Usually epiphytic in the wild, requires good drainage to do well.
Further information: Early Wilson collections were tender but more recent ones from Guizhou are proving to be hardier.
