Comments: Habit: Upright form to 2 m tall.
Foliage: Lanceolate to oblong green leaves. The underside with golden or brown scales. Midrib usually hairy for a long part of its length.
Flowers: Blue-mauve flowers with a green throat cover the stems in October.
Additional note: The most distiguishing feature are the hairs on the midrib.
