Comments:
Habit: A vigorous, upright shrub or small tree with stiff and rigid branches.
Foliage: Obovate to broadly elliptic leaves, 8-11cm long by 4.5-5.2cm wide. Upper and lower surfaces green and smooth. The plant only retains old leaves for 1-2 years.
Flowers: A loose truss of 5-10 tubular-campanulate blackish-crimson flowers.
Note: A more vigorous variety than R meddianum var meddianum with larger leaves and flowers.
