Comments: Habit: A small tree, 2.4-6 metres with smooth, brown flaking bark.
Foliage: The leaves are oblong - obovate, 6-17cm long by 3-7.5cm broad. A dark green, glabrous upper surface, and teh underside is pale glaucous green. Glabrous except for the presence of isolated bead - like hair tufts on the veins.
Flowers: Has trusses of 8-15 red tubular campanulate flowers.
